Adult Spiritual Education

Sunday School:
Adult Sunday School Classes begin at 9:45am which include:
Young Adult/College Class: This class is geared toward our graduating high school students, young adults and college students who are ages 18-25. They dive into popular topics that affect our younger generation of adults.
The Agape Class: This class consists of young/middle age adults. The minister of music, Betsy Kammerdiener teaches this class with an open discussion format to promote spiritual growth and development.
The Seekers Class: This class consists of adults of various ages. The pastor, Rev. Mark Dowell teaches the class. The main focus of this group is the study of the historical Jesus and how to apply his teachings to life situations.
The Bradford Class: This class consists of adults of various ages. They are a caring group that seeks to grow in faith and service to Christ. The literature used for this class is the New International Lessons.
The Friendship Class: This is our senior class. They use ABS literature which focuses on exploring Biblical messages and how to apply them to daily living.
Wednesday Night:
Salt, Light & Leaven Adult Class:
The Adult Wednesday night class begins at 6:45pm after our meal which starts at 6pm. The pastor leads the class in unique topics of study which stimulate conversation and aid in the spiritual growth of those attending. It is a time for self reflection and renewal reminding others that we are servants of Christ.

Other Routine Activities & Events:
We have our Bowling League on Tuesday nights during the winter months. The next League begins on August 31st. If you are interested in joining or forming a team please contact Becky Myatt or Betty Ann Case.
Weekly Prayer Meeting every Wednesday at 10:00AM. Meeting is held at Betty Ann Case's House.
On November 20th we will have our Thanksgiving Covered Dish Luncheon right after morning worship. Also, there will be a Kitchen Shower. So bring something for the new church kitchen and some delicious food.
On December 24th the church will have a Candle Light Christmas Eve Service. Don't miss this beautiful service as we anticipate the coming of Jesus.
On December 25th come to our joyous Christmas service as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
On February 22nd is our Ash Wednesday Service.
On February 24th, there will be a Game Night at the church. The time is 6:30pm. Bring your favorite snack and game. Drinks are provided. Don't miss out on the fun.
On February 26th is the first Sunday of Lent.
On April 1st, the church will celebrate Palm Sunday. Come to this wonderful service of the Easter Season.
On April 5th, the church will have an evening Maundy Thursday service in preparation for the Resurrection of Christ.
On April 6th, there will be a good Friday service, reflecting on the crucifixion of Jesus.
On April 8th, there will be an Easter Sunrise service at Rock City. Followed by a breakfast and then an Easter Worship service. Come celebrate Easter with us.
