St. Elmo UMC has joined hands with the Interfaith Homeless Network. Interfaith is a wonderful organization that helps those who are homeless. They temporarily house several families and provide a safe environment for them. Our church helps by staying the night with these families once every quarter. If you would like to give of your time to help others in need and volunteer to stay one night during the year, please contact Chuck Cardwell. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ helping others in great need.

Also, as a part of our volunteer work with Interfaith Homeless Network, we help the families by playing recreational games with them and bringing them meals. This interaction with the families helps to build relationships and trust. Both the recreational fun and making food is also once every quarter. If you would like to help out by playing games with the children of these families or bringing a meal, please contact Chuck. Thanks for help spreading joy to others in need.
