On October 2nd, Rev. Dowell will begin Art and Meditation Classes. All those who signed up for these classes need to be at the church at 7pm. These classes will meet the second Wednesday night of each month.
On October 6th, the children will be going to the Enchanted Corn Maze. Don't forget to bring a lunch and drink. We will eat after morning worship and head out for a fun day at the Corn Maze.
On October 12th, the youth will be going to the Forest of Fear. Be at the church at 8pm. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Come join the scary fun.
On October 12th, we will have Charge Conference at 9am. Please be in prayer for the leaders of our church as we look forward to 2014.
On October 20th, the church will have a fellowship after morning worship entitled, "Apple and Pumpkin fest." This is a time to enjoy the delicious foods of the fall harvest as we fellowship together around the table.
On October 30th, the children will have a Halloween Party after Christmas play practice. Dress up in a costume and come to this fun party.
On October 31st, the church will have it annual "Trunk-or-Treat." So dress up your trunks and yourselves and come out to the church parking lot for a hilarious time as we offer a safe means for our community to celebrate Halloween. Bring lots of candy.
On November 9th, the Abilities class will be participating in the Autism Walk at 10:30am. Anyone is welcome to come. See Chuck for details.
On November 13th, a new Bible Study called "Women in the Word" will be starting at 6:30pm. They will meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
On November 23rd, St. Elmo UMC will be participating in the East Ridge Christmas Parade at 6:30pm. Come join us.
On November 24th, we will have our Thanksgiving Dinner after morning worship. Bring a covered dish and join us for this fellowship of thankfulness.
On November 30th, we will be decorating the church for Advent/Christmas. The time for this event is 10am.
On December 1st, this is our "Hanging of the Greens" Service. Do not miss this beautiful service as we talk about the meaning of the decorations of Christmas.
On December 11th, the children will be performing their Christmas play "The Special Gifts." Dinner is at 6pm followed by the performance at 6:45pm. Santa will be visiting. Please come and support our children.
On December 13th, is the Youth's Progressive Christmas Dinner. We will have appetizers at the pastor's home at 6pm. Then, we will go to Jan's for the main course. Lastly, dessert will be at Lisa and Candace's house. Don't forget to bring your wrapped candy for a special game.
On December 15th, There will be a Church Luncheon at Mike and Paul's house after morning worship. Come join the fellowship.
On December 18th, the Knights of the Spirit will be presenting their Christmas performance. Dinner is at 6pm followed by their performance at 6:45pm. Please come and support our Creative Ministry Team.
On December 20th, there will be a church-wide Christmas Banquet. This is a time to fellowship with one another as we celebrate the joy expressed in the holiday season. Time is 7:00pm. Make your reservations now.
On December 22nd, we will have our Special Christmas Service. Join us in celebrating that babe in a manger that expressed so much love to all people. The worship service begins at 11am.
On December 22nd, join us at 6pm for a time of Community Christmas Caroling. When we are finished, we will come back to the church for refreshments and hot chocolate.
On December 24th, come to our Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6pm as we remember the Silent Night and Holy Night long ago.
